Salah Uddin is the Executive Director at the Management Association of Pakistan (MAP), and a Council Member at Asian Association of Management Organizations (AAMO) since 2011, Member, Marketing Association of Pakistan and Member, Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance.
MAP is a not-for-profit, apex management organization in Pakistan, established in 1964, committed to excellence in management by developing human capital, building organizational capacity and recognizing the best practices for continued enhancement of individual, institutional and national competitiveness. MAP’s vision is to lead the Change Process towards Best Management Practices. Salah Uddin’s role is to help MAP translate their vision into reality.
Previously, Salah Uddin has worked with the national airline PIA, for 34 years in various Management and Marketing fields including Director Marketing, Director Flight Services, Karachi and General Manager North America, New York.
He is a Certified Director from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG), Post Graduate in Economics from the Punjab University, Lahore and has additionally done management courses from Royal Aeronautical Society Oxford, UK, McGill University, Montreal, Canada, LUMS, Lahore and INSEAD Fontainblue, France. He also participates in Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC)’s National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC)’s Accreditation Investigation Committee (AIC) as an Industry representative.
